  • Oversee and manage the office of the Chairman, including supervision of all employees
  • Oversee the management of the Chairman's schedule and activities, ensuring alignment with priorities, and optimal use of time
  • Set the agenda for the Chairman's internal and external meetings and events and ensure that the Chairman is adequately prepared for all meetings and events

Duties
Under the supervision of the Executives, the successful candidate will among other things perform the following duties:
  • Prepare and analyze quarterly financial statements for presentation to Executive;

  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliations;
  • Prepare and present timely and effective reports to the Executive with appropriate analysis;
Qualifications and Requirements
  • B.Sc/HND Cooperative Studies and Management, Accounting or Business Management, PE II ICAN. Possession of ACA or ACCA would be an added advantage. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a related role.
Competencies
The ideal candidate must have:
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with advanced written and verbal communication skills;
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure;
  • Excellent team working skills with less supervision.
  • Excellent computer skills in the use of financial applications (Oracle or Peachtree, QuickBooks or other Accounting software)

P-yes Empowerment 2019/2020: How to Register/Apply

P-yes Empowerment 2019/2020 registration has begun. Firstly let's look at what p-yes stands for and how we can harness this opportunity for making good money before this Nigeria government will stop funding it.


The scheme is designed as an incubation Program whereby youth will be directly empowered with Seed Empowerment Tools (SET) with the aim of creating multiple layers of empowerment.
The scheme aims to create at least 774,000 empowerment opportunities through direct youth empowerment over a minimum period of two years. The P-YES scheme covers the “Youth” defined in the Nigerian National youth policy (2009) as male and female individuals whose ages are between 18 and 40 years old.

  1. Fight and reduce unemployment among Nigerian youth by creating at least 774,000 empowerment opportunities
  2. OSAPYSA plans to Train and empower youth to have the capacity to empower at least on other youth within his/her immediate community
  3. Create wealth among the growing youth population
  4. Guarantee sustained income for the target group
  5. Fight the scourge of criminality and drug abuse among the youth by empowering them to be productively engaged
  6. Help achieve the financial inclusion strategy of the Federal Government of Nigeria
  7. Enhance production, productivity and value addition for new and existing urban and rural entrepreneurs across the 774 Local Government Areas in Nigeria on a sustainable basis
  8. Consolidate and integrate youth development into the main stream of government policies, program and the national budget
  9. Build the capacity of the youth to enable them take charge of their own well being and future by building their assets and realizing their potentials
  10. To integrate the youth into the Economic Diversification policy of the Federal Government of Nigeria
  11. Contribute to GDP growth through the development of Micro, Small and Medium Scale Enterprises (M SMEs)
